Dennis Johnson died today at age 52 of a heart attack. DJ was the head coach for the Austin Toros basketball team and a member of the last Boston Celtics dynasty, one of the greatest teams in NBA history. He was a great player during the golden era of NBA history. He will be remembered by basketball fans for one of the most memerable shots ever in the NBA playoffs. For what is worth, I was advised by my cardiologist to take an aspirin a day. He told me it decreased the chance of a heart attack by 35%. I had not been religious about following my doctor’s advice. I am about the same age as DJ. I will be fully compliant from now on.
